We have immediate openings for 'Sourcing Lead, Mechanical Engineers' for our Client Tech Mahindra. PFB, the JD of this opening. Nature of Employment : Permanent position. Job Locations : Bangalore, Hyderabad Qualification: Bachelor's Degree. Experience : 5-15 years. Position : Sourcing Lead, Mechanical. Requisites 5-8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing preferably from an Automotive EV manufacturing environment. Shall have the capability to interpret engineering, drawings, technical specification, tooling, and others to ensure the manufacture of quality parts. Should be able to interpret dimensional tolerances/ functional requirements/CTQs/GD&T/ Quality plan. Ability to determine cost-effective manufacturing process Basic understanding of Materials like Carbon steel, Aluminum & Alternatives materials by grades Expertise in the passenger vehicles (EV Preferred), Systems and Sub-systems level sourcing in India Good network of supply base in India for Automotive products like Aluminum structure, Steering Systems, E-Powertrain, Interiors, Exteriors, Brakes, Suspensions, BIW etc. Shall be familiar with vendor identification process / soft benchmarking / supplier Assessment Criteria and ratings/ Supplier audit and qualification procedure. Ability to lead Negotiation and Commercial finalization Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, lead RFPRFQQuote submissionQuote analysis Good understanding of commercial and contract terms & conditions Participate in the development, Maintain supplier certification, Information and evaluation programs Research potential sources for the supply of bought-out items to ensure prices are globally competitive and sufficient production capacity is available within supply chain.
