AP Guru, a leading online education company specializing in one-on-one tutoring for courses like IB, AP, A-Level, and SAT/ACT prep, is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our executive team as the Chief of Human Resources Operations (CHRO). This pivotal role is integral to our organization's success, as it involves overseeing every aspect of our talented workforce, creating incentive structures, ensuring the upholding of values, fostering a positive culture, and addressing any issues that may arise with our teachers.

Responsibilities:

Workforce Management: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for both full-time and part-time teaching staff. Develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and professional development. Incentive Structure: Design and implement a comprehensive incentive structure to motivate and reward teachers based on performance and impact. Regularly review and adjust incentive programs to align with company goals. Values and Culture: Ensure the alignment of HR practices with the core values of AP Guru. Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects the values and ethos of the organization. Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving issues related to teachers. Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain a harmonious work environment. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to assess and enhance teacher performance. Provide guidance and support for professional growth and improvement. Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with all HR-related regulations and company policies. Develop and update HR policies in accordance with legal and industry standards. Employee Relations: Build strong relationships with teachers, addressing their needs and concerns. Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to enhance communication and engagement. Collaboration with Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with overall company objectives. Provide insights and recommendations on workforce-related matters.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the education or tech industry. Strong understanding of incentive structures, performance management, and talent acquisition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with teachers and leadership. Demonstrated ability to uphold and promote company values and culture. Thorough knowledge of HR regulations and compliance standards.
