Job description
Job Responsibilities
- To administer timely task, manpower allocation and Scheduled running of electrical preventive, operational & break down maintenance while ensuring assigned tasks are timely completed and recorded whenever required.
- Will be regularly monitoring and controlling Transformers, DCS and PLC systems as well as automation/instrumentation engineering aspect for smooth running of machineries and for all key tasks so that it runs smoothly as per planned standards.
- Ensure cordial, safe, pollution-less working environment and safeguard all assets.
- Responsible for creating short- and long-term ferro alloys production /power consumption /energy saving strategy (electrical) in line with company vision and implementation of the same.
- Responsible for improving profitability by electrical-controlled process improvement, producing value added products/process at economical cost and cost optimization.
- Accountable to Identify & implement improvement projects based on internal rate of return.
- Will timely identify root cause for theelectrical problems and losses daily. Suggest and implement appropriate “corrective and preventive actions” (CAPA) for the same.
- Will ensure availability as well as optimum level of stock of spares/ consumables and other resources to have uninterrupted production.
- Will closely monitor /analyze (with the production department) overall production effectiveness (OPE)/ overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) for achievement of all production targets with respect to quantity, quality, cost, and delivery, ensuring safe operations.
- Responsible for safeguarding men, machinery, products, raw materials, and other resources.
- Ensure progress on various business excellence initiatives and effective implementation of production/soap floor tools (process improvement, TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Management,5S etc.) as per plan.
- To ensure maintenance all electrical records & log-books. preparation of daily/weekly/monthly reports (MIS) and coordinate with the management.
- Select, manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the subordinates to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved.
