Job description

Roles & Responsibility

• Independent handling of tooling engineers for both press tools and mold.
• Capable of studying manufacturing feasibility.
• Understanding customer requirement, preparation to meet those requirements.
• Capable of training tool makers.
• Strong knowledge on the stamping, horizontal molding & insert molding process.
• Capable of developing a PFMEA for each stamping process & molding process.
• Knowledge on the plating process & tool design.
• Capability of establishing the 8D.
• Planning and Scheduling of preventive maintenance of tools, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Attend tool trials at Inhouse and condition set up to ensure that the customer requirement is met.
• Follow up and implementation of ECR / ECI (tools related).

Work Experience & Skill Set.

• 15+ years of Tool design knowledge.
• Knowledge 3D design software experience.
• Knowledge on the other manufacturing process.
• Working on the design modification.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concept clearly and concisely.

Knowledge on the GD&T.
