Administrator III role will work closely with data engineers, business intelligence analysts, analysts, but also less-technical business teams with a background in Excel, relational and non-relational data sources supporting Alteryx Platform.
The candidate will work in a team(Data & Analytics) with other Operational , patform engineers and BI Administration to ensure best in class customer experience when interacting with IT DnA owned services and platforms. This role is crucial in the timeliness and effectiveness of the delivery of business analytics and data provisioning needs of the enterprise.
Roles & Responsibilities : -
Installing, managing the configuration and maintenance of the Alteryx Server and the host servers that that it runs on. Monitoring server performance and generating alerts for usage spikes. Administer Alteryx Gallery Platforms & Data Connections Alteryx Systems Settings, ODBC & DSN connections to different data sources Create Admin Data Governance & Best Practices Manage Alteryx permission & user roles. Expertise with Alteryx license provisioning, auditing & chargebacks. Manage vendor relationship working with vendor on Alteryx related issues. Utilize the Alteryx Server Usage Report for server activities, runtime, jobs, users & log files. Design and test complex workflows in Alteryx Data preparation, cleaning, blending, merging, and creation of data models using Alteryx
Standardize and automate company processes using Alteryx, including SQL table updates, generating new SQL queries, ease of use macros, and more. Experience of Data Quality checks & validation using Alteryx Review of existing workflows to ensure built according to best practice methods for using the tool before migrating to next level. Keeping a backlog of improvements that can be worked against to support product growth
Supporting the user base in terms of technical assistance, putting together a training program and hosting office hours. Potentially aiding in support of other applications comprising the enterprise data platform. Good understanding of configuring Alteryx system for high availability. Expertise with Alteryx Designers and Workflows. Good Understanding of Windows Infrastructure ,Load balancing etc, Manage AD groups and memberships. On call support (24/7) rotation.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's in computer science
3 Years of Alteryx experience
5 Years minimum of IT Experience
Good to have SAP BusinessObjects & Power BI knowledge (not mandatory)
Good customer focus and attention to detail.
Appetite to learn new technologies.
Looking for candidates who are comfortable in USA timings (Night Shift)
