Position Name: Risk Manager / Senior Risk Manager for Construction Finance Location: BKC, Mumbai
Number of Positions: 1 Key Objective of the Job: Evaluation and assessment of construction finance proposals originated by business team. This would involve evaluating the cash flows, real estate project viability, legal & technical aspects of the project. Visiting developers & project sites along with business team. Co-ordinating with inhouse legal & technical teams to assess the project viability. To appraise the data & do detailed due diligence of the proposal. Evaluate CAM, project cash flows. Post evaluation recommend the construction finance proposals to approving authority. To evaluate pre disbursement conditions before disbursement Post disbursement monitoring. Tranche disbursements, monitoring NOC issuance, compliance to covenants etc Post disbursement regular monitoring of the projects funded. Subsequent tranche disbursements Issuance of NOC to sell the units/ apartments. Manage a team of risk officers. Quarterly assessment of portfolio / projects with regards to projects Vs actual performance Major Deliverables: Portfolio quality measured by bounce instances and delinquency Timely decision of proposals Monitoring and managing portfolio Specialized job competencies: Analytical skills – ability to take decision in limited data situation. Credit appraisal of mid-size (5 to 30 Cr) loan proposals. Understanding of Real Estate Industry, builder/developers’ business Regulations, legal intricacies and technical requirements of real estate development Educational Qualification: · CA/MBA with relevant experience 5-10 years in Real Estate / Construction Finance credit. Desired Experience: Experience of underwriting / risk management of construction finance, project finance field. Credit of construction Finance / Real Estate Finance Experience of 5-10 years. Other desired attributes: Proficiency in Local language (must), Hindi and English(must), Good communication skills. Ability to work in teams spread across locations. Multi-tasking. managing diverse challenging deadlines and demanding expectations.Job tags
