Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Media & PR Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective media and public relations strategies to enhance our organization's public image and drive positive media coverage. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of media relations, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Media Strategy Development:

• Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
• Create and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.

Press Release Management:

• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to targeted media contacts.
• Coordinate media interviews and events, ensuring maximum coverage and positive representation.

Content Creation:

• Produce engaging and relevant content for press materials, articles, and other communication channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Crisis Communication:

• Develop crisis communication plans and strategies to effectively manage and mitigate potential issues.
• Act as a spokesperson during times of crisis, maintaining transparency and managing public perception.

Media Monitoring:

• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
• Provide regular reports on media coverage and sentiment.

Event Management:

• Coordinate and manage media presence at events, product launches, and other key activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of PR initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Proven experience in media relations, PR, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated creativity in developing effective PR campaigns.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
