About This Opportunity
Testing team (SL IT & ADM) is presently looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will primarily be responsible for testing various 5G Core cloud native functions and integration testing processes. The key duties for this role encompass assessing test prerequisites, gaining a deep understanding of the high-level network function architecture, documenting test scenarios, designing tests, creating and handling test data, performing tests and root cause analysis, as well as monitoring and coordinating defect management.
What You Will Do - Directive to have the domain functional working, verification and hands-on experience around 5G Core Cloud Native Functions (example: PACO | SC etc.)
- Strong core telecom demonstrated ability performing network integration tests with a blend of e2e Platform acceptance testing (example: ECCD | CNIS)
- Well versed with e2e testing process and Agile methodologies, testing and defect management tools like HP-QC/JIRA/etc.
- Test Design and baseline Test data preparation, Test Execution covering the NF under Test
- Technical skill to conduct defect analysis and RCA per the flow under test
You will bring - Domain functional understanding of the 5G Core cloud native network functions and identifying business scenarios for functional testing flows
- Testing experience of Orchestration flows and domain knowledge around Platform level
- Experience with Traffic simulators performing traffic-mix testing scenarios (example: AAT, DTG, vDallas, etc.)
- Contributing towards both pre and post production QA testing
- Supporting the UAT flows and test execution in Lab and Production Environments
- Work very closely with onsite/other teams (QA | SA | Systems) and inject the test standard processes to have optimized test executions
- Managing the defect tracking and RCA in common triage flow
- Complete understanding of SDLC/STLC and agile test processes
- Good to have – Test Script Automation experience and scripting attitude
