Job Details SAP SR SD Functional Analyst Position Summary The purpose of this position is to work with the business users and SAP project team to translate business requirements into functional requirements, analyze, design, configure, document and work with developers on key technical functions in SAP. Work includes on-going support, enhancements and new implementations. Job Responsibilities Partners with business areas to create requirements to resolve business application needs and problems. Performs analysis and design based on business requirements. Produces functional design requirements and documentation and accurate estimates. Performs configuration of systems as defined by business requirements and specifications. Performs master data preparation, cleansing, migration and support. Promotes strong quality practices by performing testing and providing appropriate level of support for user acceptance testing, as needed. Serves as a resource to the Business Analyst and Project Lead for providing functional leadership on projects. Identifies and recommends alternatives for changing business needs, opportunities and process improvements. Communicates with outside resources and vendors on new initiatives and technologies. Shares knowledge of critical business processes and systems as well as knowledge of newer technologies with others. Demonstrate people leadership skills, emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills. Works with other areas of IT to resolve operating system, network, integration and data issues. Competencies Delivers Results Success Model Behaviors Education: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Business or technology related field. Experience : 6+ years' experience of functional experience in SAP SD hands on design, configuration, implementation and support of application systems. Experienced in all SD aspects, Enterprise Structure, Master Data, Pre-Sales, Sales Order, Contracts, Shipping, Billing, Returns, Debits and Credit processing. Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI and with external ERP systems like Vertex, EDI, etc. Interfaces: Should have hands-on interface experience handling different systems like SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP. IDOC: Should have good work experience in handling IDOC issues. Strong experience in translating business requirements into functional/technical specifications and solutions. Ability to perform ABAP debugging. Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite. Ability to design, configure, and implement a wide variety of SAP modules and functions preferably in the areas of SD, ECC, S/4, and C4C Small team leadership or mentoring of others Other Requirements : Ability to design and configure applications which integrate with other systems, platforms, and external services. Functional knowledge of critical business processes and systems. Knowledge and experience in services oriented architecture a plus. Creative and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead development projects utilizing project management methodologies (Generally small to medium projects for SAP Developer/Analyst. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in collaborating with teams to manage and troubleshoot complex interfaces involving multiple systems and middleware applications (e.g. Cloud for Customer, External Order Interfaces, EDI, BTP, FIORI, etc.) As part of the J.J.
