If you like all of the above, Technical project management may be a role for you that will bridge the areas of business, design & development.
You'll be the 'go to person' on a variety of client projects from new website builds, SaaS and e-commerce projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth project rollouts and delivering results for clients.
You will look after the digital team, and keep the client happy through with constant communication.
You will be responsible for day-to-day management, planning, tracking and smooth operations of various projects for clients ranging from small startups, SMBs to large multinational customers.
You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.
From understanding the requirements, creating plans, allocating resources, ensuring the timely completion of projects, the project manager, or service delivery manager will be the go-to person for clients through the life cycle of the project.
Purpose of the role…
Our CTO meets a lot of new clients, securing new contracts and pitching for work.
There's only so many hours in the day and he cannot meet everybody.
We need a motivated individual to join our team and enhance efficiency ensuring that both clients, and users satisfied.
We want someone that doesn't want to hide behind faceless emails but is dedicated to building solid relationships with our clients.
We are looking for an energetic and driven individual with solid agency experience.
- Representing the client's or organisation's interests
- Organising the various professional people working on a project
- Making sure the quality standards are met
- Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
- Reporting to the client or senior stakeholders on progress
- Evaluating the success of the project
- Providing advice on the management of projects
- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
- Using systems, and tools to keep track of people and progress
- Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained

You must be a friendly character who represents the brand well.

Business development is key to this role also. We are looking at ways of securing new clients, meeting potential clients on the Zoom, going out for podcasts, virtual coffee's and socialising are all aspects of the job role.
We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals.
We need someone to jump in, elevate What a Story and our brand buddies to new heights, and toss some cool ideas into the mix.
Age does not matter. While industry experience would be great, it's not a deal-breaker. What we're really after is a certain personality.

- 2-4 years of experience in project management or client servicing
- Prior project management experience or recent certification
- Proven track record of successful project implementation and completion
- Hands-on experience in project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Notion, web technologies like Sheets, Docs, Presentation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Ability to organise and maintain file structures for project deliverables
- Be any graduate (strong IT skills required)
- Be a people's person and an effective communicator
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
