Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Steward in the hospitality industry. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our establishment, promoting a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and guests.
Required Qualification: Diploma in Hotel management Or Degree in Hotel Management
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all service and kitchen areas
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, glassware, flatware, and dishes
- Assist in inventory control, monitoring supplies and reporting shortages
- Dispose of trash and recycling in a timely manner
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a hospitality setting
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
