Job Title: Performance Testing Engineer Location: Pune Experience Level: 4 - 8 Years Position Type: Full-time Notice Period - 30 Days
Job Description: As a Performance Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications by developing and executing formal performance test plans. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation, collaborating with engineers to analyze test results, and making informed decisions on acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will document issues, provide quality process training, and act as an internal quality consultant to advise business and technical partners. Responsibilities: Develop and execute formal performance test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvement. Collaborate with engineers to analyze test results and make GO/NO GO decisions on acceptance criteria. Document all problems and assist in their resolution. Deliver quality process training to technical staff. Act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Skills Required: Experience conducting performance testing of mission-critical applications. Working knowledge of Automated Test and Test Management Tools (e.g., HP ALM). Performance testing experience with Java applications and API-based applications. Experience with scripting and testing using Loadrunner, Gatling, JMeter, and other widely used performance testing tools. Ability to analyze performance and statistics using various tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, and log files. Ability to create test planning, scripting, and reusable performance test scripts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Job tags
