Job Description
- Provide tactical and on-ground direction to Novotel Hotels in India to implement the operational brand standards and hotel strategy. Put sustainable work processes and systems in place that support the operational execution of the strategy.
- Manage directly the Operations of Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
- Ensure General Managers perform and meet forecasts and budgets; set objectives for GM's in line with group/brands strategies; monitor hotel performance and KPI's; proactively places strategies to ensure budgets are honoured.
- Undertake on-site operational audits to ensure all systems and processes in the operation are as per standards.
- Act as an Accor Representative, own and manage the relationship with the owner.
Qualifications
- 18 + years' hospitality experience with minimum 2-3 years of experience being Director of Operations of big inventory hotel in the economy/mid-scale segment.
- Strong Operational will be an added advantage
- Financially astute with a proven track record of exceptional sales, pricing, and revenue management competencies
- Strong process orientation; Strong Leadership abilities and organizational skills; Entrepreneurial, thinks out of the box; Must be strategic, creative, and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall goals; Go-getter; Comfortable taking ownership of projects and expanding the scope of responsibilities; Outstanding PR and social integration skills to develop strong customer relations; Able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/synergies across the network.
