Job Summary

The Trade Compliance Analyst will be part of a team of three export/import compliance professionals responsible for NetApp's Global Trade Compliance (GTC) program in the APAC region, with this position sitting in India. The Analyst will help define and execute procedures related to export and import compliance regimes in India consistent with local, United States and other international regimes.

In this position, you will engage at all levels of internal and external partner organizations. GTC has the responsibility for managing export licensing of products and technical data accomplishing all customer or transaction screenings such as restricted party list reviews managing export/import compliance awareness training handling foreign national screening and licensing classification of products and technical data under appropriate EAR ECCNs and Harmonized System codes maintaining compliance procedures conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with U.S. and applicable global regulations and completing any other activity required to progress the trade compliance function within NetApp.

Job Requirements

Responsibility and Interaction

Specific duties and responsibilities include overseeing and streamlining releases from local customs authorities, responding to customs queries, project management of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program to promote NetApp as an AEO certified company, minimize disruptions to cargo clearance, and retain recognition as a 'secure and reliable' partner.
