Job description

Overview: As a Service Engineer specializing in Drilling Equipment assigned to overseas & Pan India locations, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for drilling machinery and related equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, adaptability to different environments, and the ability to work independently in international settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance and Servicing:

    • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner, implementing necessary repairs or replacements.
  2. Installation and Commissioning:

    • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new drilling equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
    • Conduct testing and calibration procedures to validate the performance and safety of the installed equipment.
  3. Technical Support and Training:

    • Provide technical guidance and support to clients' maintenance teams or operators on proper equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
    • Conduct training sessions or workshops for customer personnel regarding equipment handling, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs performed, parts used, and service reports.
    • Prepare comprehensive service reports documenting findings, solutions applied, and recommendations for improvements or future actions.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, provide technical assistance, and coordinate service schedules.
