Job Description:
We are looking for an Sr Manager/AGM for who would be responsible for the Finance operations of the company. The candidate would be responsible for ensuring correctness and completeness of books of accounts. He should have in depth knowledge of Accounting standards, IGAAP, and disclosure requirements as per Companies Act. This position will report to the CFO
Key Responsibility:
Review of transactions at regular intervals and ensure basic hygiene is maintained in
following areas :
- Sales
- Purchases
- Cash Payments
- Bank Payments
- Journal Vouchers
- Payroll
Revenue recognition and posting of necessary entries.
Verification and rectification of deficiencies of transaction Updation of :
- Fixed Asset Register
- Calculation of depreciation as per New Companies act
- Posting of Depreciation entries in the books
- Physical verification of Fixed Assets at regular intervals and reporting of variances
Internal Controls
- Preparation of Budgets and Monitoring the actuals against Budget by implementing Budgetary controls.
- Automate Finance reporting and other operations.
- Improve Finance process/team efficiency with adequate process and controls
- OPEX, Vendor & Customer management
- Financial reporting including Segmental reporting and product management reporting
- Internal controls through SOPs
- Periodic review of Accounts Payables & Receivables
- Inventory Management
Statutory compliance:
- GST - Monthly filings, reconciliations & payment
- TDS - Review of workings, payment on date and filings
- Professional Tax, ESI & PF - Review of workings and payment on date
- Audit & compliances including corporate governance
Requirements Qualifications:
- Suitable candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 8-10 years work experience in a reputed audit firm/ Organization.
- Experience towards International finance.
- Experience towards Fundraising.
- Good Knowledge of Accounting standards, Companies ACT, IT Act & GST.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Oracle/Tally Accounting or similar software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
