Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Direct all immigration-related operational aspects including customer service, human resources, and administration.

2. Manage and review the immigration-related work done by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

3. Assist the team in handling immigration queries for various types of visas including Skilled, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Atlantic Immigration Pilot, Spousal, Open Work Permit, Super Visa, Visitor Visa, Express Entry, etc.

4. Take responsibility for the final review and submission of all immigration applications once prepared by the team.

5. Attend to walk-in inquiries related to immigration services, providing expert guidance and assistance.

6. Manage the budget and allocate funds appropriately to meet operational needs effectively.

7. Foster the professional growth and development of branch personnel through training, mentoring, and motivation.

8. Identify areas of improvement within the branch operations and propose corrective actions to address challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.

9. Share knowledge and best practices with other branches and headquarters to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

10. Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of service quality.

11. Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards and compliance with all regulations and applicable immigration laws.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration services or a related field.

3. In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.

4. Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Proven ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.

7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

8. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.

9. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.

10. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
