Job description

Job Summary:

As a Medical Representative (MR) you will play a key role in promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals including doctors pharmacists and hospitals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders providing product information and educational materials and achieving sales targets in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and sell our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals including doctors pharmacists and hospitals in your assigned territory.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to drive product adoption and usage.
  3. Conduct product presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals to increase awareness and understanding of our products and their benefits.
  4. Provide accurate and uptodate product information including clinical data and scientific evidence to healthcare professionals to support informed decisionmaking.
  5. Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory to expand market reach and achieve sales growth targets.
  6. Plan and prioritize sales activities including customer visits and meetings to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
  7. Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats and develop strategies to address them.
  8. Prepare and submit regular reports including sales forecasts territory performance and competitor analysis to management to track progress and performance against targets.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Pharmacy Life Sciences or a related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales with at least X years of experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar role.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals.
  4. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate product information and value propositions.
  5. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including therapeutic areas products and competitors.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  8. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
