Symbiosis Open Education Society is looking for a suitable candidate with profound academic experience who has worked as Principal / Director / Sr. HOD preferably in Engineering or Management institution for a leadership position in HR department of Symbiosis Open Education Society, candidate shall have al-least 15-20 years relevant preferably in academic institution for a leadership position in HR Department. The candidate shall be responsible for providing inputs / guidance to the HR team. The candidate shall have: Thorough knowledge of norms of regulatory bodies such as UGC / AICTE. Deep understanding of research, assessment of quality of research. Knowledge of Academic Performance Indicators (API), NAAC guidelines etc.. Candidate from Pune shall only apply. Candidate should have academic experience UG/PG level only apply. Workplace Location- SCDL, Model Colony, Pune. Education- MBA- HR (Must Have) Salary for Head HR - CTC 20-24. Age should be 40-50 Years Candidate should be preferably form Academic industry. Key Responsibilities: Cadre wise manpower planning of faculty for different academic programs in consultation with registrar of university. Preparation of HR budget by taking into consideration requirement of teaching and non-teaching staff. Drafting recruitment advertisements per norms of statutory & regulatory bodies & specific requirement of organization. Scrutiny of candidate application received to assess their eligibility for a position. Assessing research credentials of candidates. Constitution of selection committees as per norms of regulatory bodies, act of university. Evaluation of candidate for different faculty position at time of interview. Induction and orientation of newly joined faculty & Staff. Training and development of faculty & Staff. Performance appraisal of faculty & staff on the basis of API & performance appraisal parameters. Providing necessary mentoring, guidance & academic inputs to HR team. The candidate shall report directly to the management on all responsibilities / tasks assigned from time to time. The candidate shall have knowledge for statutory compliance.
