Position Summary
Manages and maintains the secure operation of the company’s public marketing websites. The position will work closely with colleagues in marketing to ensure the seamless upgrades of marketing websites and plugins without disrupting the public facing websites. This position will troubleshoot issues while upgrading frameworks, plugins, themes, while keeping sites online and secure. This position will be in our Pune Office.
A Day in the Life
- Upgrading WordPress website frameworks and plugins.
- Troubleshoot issues upgrading frameworks and plugins.
- Manage, configure, and customize WordPress plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Monitor and enhance website security, implement security best practices, and stay up to date on the latest threats.
- Test site usability and performance on a variety of browsers.
- Able to work independently on projects with little formal direction.
- Effectively communicate with cross-departmental teams.

Experience:
- Preferer 3-5 years’ experience as a WordPress developer or similar role.
- Requires knowledge of web technologies, techniques, and tools such as HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL
- Familiarity with web design principles and mobile optimization.
- Solid understanding of website security best practices and security plugins.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a passion for staying updated on web development trends.
Computer/Technical:
- Basic knowledge of Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
- Experience with copiers, scanners, fax machines
- Demonstrate ability to learn multi-line phone system
- Graphic Design Software
- Website Builder Software
