Job description
Roles & Responsibilities :- Create design documents of ROS2 layers and communications- Design ROS2 use cases and develop custom ROS2 applications- Design software components using the Micro ROS framework- Integrate existing systems and algorithms into ROS2 based application - Review design documents, source code, test cases and other submissions to customer to ensure quality- Optimize performance and efficiency of software- Interact with internal and external stake holders- Guide and mentor team members- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development processes- Stay up-to-date with the latest ROS2 features and technology advancementsRequired Skills (Technical Competency) :- Experienced in ROS middleware - ROS2 and Micro-ROS- Good understanding of the ROS layers and functionality/interaction between each layer dds/rtsp, rmw, rclc, rclcpp, rclpy, rmw_microxrcedds, micro-ROS-Agent, etc.- Experienced in creating ROS application on both Linux and Firmware- Good experience working on Linux environment and basic Linux internals- Experienced and skilled in - C/C++/Python ROS 2 programming and developmentDesired Skills :- Experience in Embedded platforms - SoC/MCU- Knowledge of AD/ADAS domain and its use cases- Experience with ARM processor, GNU toolchain- Hands on robotics experience with deploying robots in industries- Good communication skill and agile personality- Able to adapt quickly and be ready to learn and take up new challenges- Able to take up responsibility and work independently (ref:hirist.tech)
