Description

The Senior Consultant plays a key role on the project team; either by running small projects, Integrating portions of a large project, or being a team member on a project. He/She drivesthe analysis,designs the solution, processf inalization, and resolves process and technical issues. The Senior Consultant may perform the role of a Team Leader. The Senior Consultant ensures high quality service and high customersatisfaction. He/She maybe involved in preparing the detailed level plan for his/herfunctional/technical area and will be required to assist in business development activities by providing proposal input.

Essential Functions

Engage with the customer by: Leading customer engagement/conversations in business language and identifying the requirements Analyzing customer business processes and SAP solution design. Moving logically and creatively from facts to conclusions Leading process design workshops, configuration/development and assisting customers in testing cycles Demonstrating creativity and thought leadership, and using experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the customer Writing specifications and working with developers where required Maintaining and expanding customer contact at high levels and building credible relationships with key customer personnel by consistently delivering assigned tasks on time with high quality Establishing self as the go-to person/”Advisor” for individual field of expertise, for both customers and colleagues Managing customer and company expectations Participating in pre-sales engagements – demonstrated ability to connect with customers when discussing best practices and SAP functionality Provide Leadership by: Deployment of consultants in the preparation of Blueprint Documents, Specifications, Business Process Procedures, Test scenarios, End User Documentation, and User Manuals Using appropriate implementation methodology and tools in a project Being capable and available for interviewing candidates for potential opportunities within the company

Essential Functions (Continued)

Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan (release projects, knowledge transfer projects, upgrade projects). This includes drafting the project plan for the functional/technical area (in the event he/she is leading the area), in terms of scope, deliverables, timelines and resources and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans. Continuously develop SAP core skills, IS-specific skills and cross-functional expertise and business knowledge based on accumulated experience. Invest time in the professional development of other consultants through coaching and mentoring and act as a role model through dedication to customer service, problem solving and demonstrating a high level of capability. Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.

Required Qualifications

Deep proficiency in core module of SAP Lateral knowledge of all complementary modules of SAP Exposure to multiple project implementations Have the ability to integrate proposed solution across modules and with 3rd party systems Knowledge and experience in the attune Implementation methodology At least 6 years prior work experience in a SAP consulting capacity A minimum of 4 complete project life cycles in a SAP consulting capacity Exposure to the Fashion and Lifestyle Industry in a working capacity for at least 3 years

Desired Qualifications

General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications Formal training/certification in core module of SAP is preferred Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Ability to articulate ideas and opinions to all stakeholders Ability to lead and work in teams - interpersonal skills are essential Leadership capabilities, result orientation, conceptual thinking, and innovative mindset Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies
