Control-M zOS L3 Scheduler – 7-12 Yrs - Bangalore/Chennai/Pune / Gurgaon – Ready to work in US Day Shift About This Team The production support team at FIS consist of Mainframes, Open systems Batch scheduling, NDM Connect Direct, CA Output Management & CA Easytrieve administration. It operates from Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune locations. It is a Level 3 team that provides Scheduling and Admin services for multiple clients hosted at data centers across the globe.
What You Will Be Doing - Create and manage Job Scheduling Definitions, Job Trigger setup, Job restart management, specify scheduling parameters, conditions, and resources, able to use calendars for scheduling of jobs, forecast schedules, use of SMART Tables using Control-M for z/Os
- Install and configure Control-M for z/OS, Control-M Workload Automation interface to manage z/OS jobs
- Create / modify JCL needed for job functions (copies, backups, restores, etc.)
- Respond to processing problems and client requests and maintain data center disaster recovery plan
- Familiar with JES and Routing of Reports through Remote Destinations
What You Bring - 7-12 Yrs of experience in Control-M for z/Os Scheduler with expert knowledge in Mainframe Scheduling Administration, Output Management, JCL, MVS, TSO and Batch Processing
- Intermediate knowledge in JCL. Should be capable of creating new processes using IBM utilities to fulfill client requests by interacting with them and designing a solution
- Act as support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and system components; provide direct technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, installation, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to z/OS operating system, network, and component software
