Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Mobilizer to join our team at our company. As a Community Mobilizer, you will play a crucial role in empowering and mobilizing communities to create opportunities for youth with un-employed. This is a full-time position based in Secunderabad, Telangana, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in community mobilization, social work, or a similar role, preferably in the NGO sector
- Working experience with Colleges & Universities
- Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with community leaders, NGOs, and potential employers
- Passion for inclusivity and social impact, with a commitment to empowering youth with disabilities
- Proactive and takitive approach to problem-solving and community outreach
- Proficiency in local languages and English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Roles And Responsibilities - Engage and collaborate with community leaders, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to raise awareness about the need for inclusivity and employment opportunities for youth with disabilities
- Conduct outreach activities and information sessions to educate communities about the programs and services offered by Youth4Jobs Foundation
- Identify and build relationships with potential employers to create job opportunities for youth with disabilities
- Coordinate and organize job fairs, skill development workshops, and other events to facilitate the placement of youth with disabilities
- Provide counseling and support services to youth with disabilities to enhance their employability skills and prepare them for job interviews
- Maintain accurate records and reports of community engagement activities, partnerships, and outcomes
- Collaborate with the program team to design and implement strategies for community mobilization and engagement
- Stay updated on disability rights, policies, and best practices to ensure effective advocacy and support for youth with disabilities
