Job Description:
Frido, a leading innovator in orthopedic body support, is seeking a passionate and skilled Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical and electronic principles, hands-on experience with biomechanics, and a proven track record of creative problem-solving through college projects such as drones, robotics, or similar complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic components and systems for orthopedic support devices, ensuring integration with biomechanical applications.
- Prototype and test new product concepts, including wearables and support aids, with a focus on user-centric design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine electrical designs for manufacturability, reliability, and functionality.
- Apply knowledge of biomechanics to enhance the interface between electronic systems and human movement.
- Stay abreast of latest trends and technologies in both electrical/electronics and biomechanics to drive innovation within the company.
- Document design processes and participate in peer review sessions to ensure the highest quality of engineering output.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience with hands-on projects during college, such as building drones, robotics, or other relevant technical creations.
- Basic understanding of biomechanics and its application to wearable technology or orthopedic devices.
- Proficiency in using design and simulation tools (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in healthcare technology.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
