Job Responsibilities:
Product Display and Merchandising:
- Assist in creating visually appealing displays to attract customers and promote sales.
- Arrange merchandise according to established guidelines and seasonal trends.
- Maintain store appearance and ensure products are organized and well-stocked.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking products as needed.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to track product availability and optimize stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory reconciliation.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Assist in analyzing sales data and customer feedback to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Provide insights to senior merchandisers for data-driven decision-making.
Customer Engagement:
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance.
- Gather customer feedback and relay it to the merchandising team for product improvements.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior merchandisers, store managers, and other departments to execute merchandising strategies effectively.
- Assist in coordinating merchandising activities with promotional events and sales initiatives.
Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory, sales, and customer interactions.
- Provide administrative support, such as preparing reports and organizing merchandise-related documentation.
Requirements:
- Previous 2+ years of retail experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
