About the Opportunity
As the Subtech/IRM Assets & Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the mobile assets/equipment used across the product line are tracked, managed and maintained to ensure optimal utilization and performance in line with operational and contractual requirements. You will work on establishing and maintaining an integrated and efficient function across all Subtech/IRM equipment activities globally.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the company's growth to new regions and within an international setting.
You will be based remotely but there will be an expectation to travel within the UK as well as abroad as and when required, and will be reporting into the Product Line Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Regional Operations Teams ensuring correct equipment is available for scheduled work.
- Attend all scheduling and planning meetings ensuring that all equipment location trackers and status updates are maintained providing a global view on assets.
- Oversee the implementation of planned maintenance regimes globally.
- Ensure that equipment regulatory audits are kept up-to-date.
- OEM Bulletin management for all equipment upgrades or improvements.
- Forecast and budget preparation.
- Responsible for asset cost centres and the management of repair, maintenance and spares inventory budgets.
- Work closely with all regional operations teams in the scope planning and scheduling stages to minimize the volume of shipping / need for shipping assets globally.
- Attend project kick off and project wash up meetings and be an active contributor to lessons learned and improvement meetings, implementing all outputs and developing operational equipment support as the business grows and expands.
- Manage the global maintenance of assets with the regional focal points reporting back with regular updates.
- Attend all major project kick of meetings globally, ensuring that the maintenance is being carried out if not already complete and ensure that project delivery is met.
- Set up and Manage Technical equipment advise to all operations teams on or offshore.
- Ensure spares and consumables are managed and maintained in a uniform matter and that system inventories are updated on a regular bases.
- Ensure that Product Line fixed asset registers are updated and accurate.
- Facilities and plant management.
- Ensure all work is carried out and completed in line with company policies, procedures and processes ensuring all documentation is completed and saved correctly.
- Ensure that workshop and equipment maintenance personnel are competent and certified to perform the tasks assigned to them.
About the Candidate
- Experience in a similar role ideally within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- ROV and equipment management experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Relevant qualification.
- Very good IT and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
