Advantech is currently looking for an experienced
Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect Lead to lead our digital commerce development team located in Pune, to drive innovation of our B2B eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in digital commerce-related development, strong expertise in PaaS architecture (eg., Mogento), proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and a proven ability to lead and manage development teams using DevOps methodologies. This role will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including corporate IT, Digital Marketing, and Product teams, to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Reporting of the role: This role report to the Headquarter Business Lead Hiring Location: Pune (Onboarding training in Taipei 6-8 months) Responsibilities of the role: Lead the design and development of scalable and high-performance B2B digital commerce solutions that align with our business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to define and execute the technical vision for our eCommerce platform. Evaluate and recommend PaaS solutions and cloud-based technologies to enhance platform capabilities and scalability. Understand the architecture of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce ecosystem to optimize and expand our capabilities. Lead and mentor a development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Implement and champion best practices in DevOps, automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code. Ensure the platform's security, compliance, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with product managers, designers, corporate IT, and other stakeholders, to deliver exceptional user experiences. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to development teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital commerce-related development roles. Strong expertise in PaaS architecture and cloud-based solutions. Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud is highly desirable. Proven experience in leading development teams, fostering teamwork and collaboration. In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code. Solid understanding of software architecture principles, microservices, and API design. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks commonly used in eCommerce development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Highly team-oriented and able to build strong working relationships.
