JOB PURPOSE
As a senior manager of estimation and budgeting, you will play a critical role in the financial planning and management of projects within our organization. You will lead a team of estimation and budgeting professionals, overseeing the development of accurate project cost estimates and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.
CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Responsibilities)
- Lead and manage a team of estimation and budgeting professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging continuous learning and development within the team.
- Oversee the development and implementation of robust project cost estimation processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information for accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to enhance the accuracy of project cost predictions.
- Develop and maintain standardized procedures for budget preparation, approval, and tracking.
- Conduct a thorough financial analysis to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess the financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives, offering recommendations to enhance cost-effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate budgetary information and financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Provide budgets and detailed estimates at various design development phases.
- Coordinate with the project heads about budget development and monitoring
- Create and finalize technical specifications for the CSA and MEPF works according to the master format, including code compliance for new projects.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of MEPF systems and processes.
- Create and maintain a database of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Demonstrate robust expertise in both residential and commercial construction projects
