Key Accounts Manager – Modern Trade (Personal Care Products)
Experience: - 2+ Yrs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Accounts Manager to oversee the Modern Trade Sales operations for our personal care product lines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, with a focus on optimizing sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient operations across all regions in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Collaborate with the Retail Head to set sales targets and KPIs for the Trade segment.
- Drive the execution of sales plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Retail Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned Modern Trade Customers, including inventory management, product placement, and visual merchandising.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Ensures Modern Trade sales team are aware of sales and marketing activities to implement them in a cost and time effective manner. Collect Feedback on how the activities running
- Provide continuous Brand and Product training to store associates. Organize regular updating training programs.
Key Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the assigned channels..
- Collaborate with key accounts to develop joint business plans, promotional activities, and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with key accounts to meet sales objectives.
Credit Allocations:
- Implement and manage credit allocation policies for customers.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of customers, establish credit limits, and monitor credit terms.
- Work closely with finance and credit control teams to minimize credit risks and optimize cash flow.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and inspire a team of retail professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Utilize market intelligence to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in retail operations management, preferably in the personal care or FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of the Modern Trade landscape in the Indian market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
