Job description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In effectively analyzing the implications of proposed and upcoming regulations for the company interests
To proactively reconnoiter regulatory landscape in foreign jurisdictions to support business efforts
In developing and managing submissions for TCL Nutrition and Specialty Chemical products in multiple regulatory jurisdictions
In interfacing with R&D teams to ensure smooth integration of regulatory concerns in various projects
In liaising with FSSAI and other jurisdictional agencies such as USFDA on any regulatory, compliance or trade-related issues

Ensuring compliance of company products/processes/operations
Assessing and analyzing potential claims in the company-s diverse range of products from a regulatory standpoint.
Preparation and maintenance of documentation related to Regulatory Affairs
Collaborating with R&D teams to generate and integrate information that support regulatory positions of the company products
Keeping the R&D teams updated on the changes in the regulatory environment and identify the opportunities/challenges for the innovation efforts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

Post-Graduate degree in science with majors in Food/Nutrition/Chemistry
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Nutrition and Specialty Chemicals regulatory function regulatory experience dealing with international jurisdictions would be an asset

Proficiency in regulatory matters, specifically in nutrition, health, and specialty product claims, demonstrating a deep understanding of the processes involved in developing and obtaining approvals for these claims.
Experience in working with scientific information and reports related to nutrition and specialty chemicals are essential
Demonstrated experience of working with senior business stakeholders
