Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Development Representative. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, and business development. Day-to-day tasks will include prospecting, qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and managing a sales pipeline.

Who you are: A sports coach or a sports enthusiast who is aware of the sports ecosystem, training, associations and federations. You can also apply if you have an interest in growing in this space.

What you'll do: Connect with industry stakeholders. Build a list of prospects and book meetings.

Pay Scale - Upto 50k p.m

Skills:

• If you are an athlete who has played sports at various levels, or a coach, or have a deep interest in sports, you have an edge for this role.
• Communication skills: Communicate clearly and persuasively with potential customers, both verbally and in writing. Have a good command of the language, a friendly and professional tone, and an engaging style that captures the attention and interest of the prospects.
• Research skills: Research the target market, the industry, and the specific pain points and needs of each prospect. Use various tools and sources, such as LinkedIn, Google, company websites, social media, etc., to find relevant information and insights that can help them tailor their outreach and pitch.
• Sales skills: Have a basic understanding of the sales process, the value proposition of the product or service, and the best practices for cold calling, emailing, and following up. Identify decision-makers, qualify leads, overcome objections, and book meetings for the sales team.
• Time management skills: Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks according to their goals and quotas. Balance multiple activities, such as prospecting, calling, emailing, updating CRM, etc., without losing focus or productivity.
• Resilience skills: Be resilient and persistent in the face of rejection and challenges. Handle negative feedback, learn from their mistakes, and keep trying until they achieve their desired results.
