Job Description
Windows Admin (Operations Domain)
Good Knowledge of managing Windows Physical servers i.e. CISCO HP Dell Fujitsu etc.
Expert or Good understanding of Raid configuration Troubleshooting related like accessibility issues Network issues BSOD issues Disk and storagerelated issues and ILO/console concepts.
Aware of VMware and Nutanix technology and Good exposure to managing Virtual Microsoft Windows servers.
One who can handle issues related to OS accessibility Network Performance and other operational work.
One who understands server Induction OS installation (onsite or remotely via console or ILO) and diskrelated actions.
Good exposure in Microsoft failover cluster (Creation reconfiguration Migrations Cluster disk related tasks)
Good Exposure in IIS (Site creation Migration Troubleshooting).
Troubleshooting of performance issues Site reachability issues troubleshooting of different status codes i.e.Series.
Log analysis like IIS logs ERROR logs Freb Worker process dump analysis
OS log analysis perfmon Memory dumps Netmon.
Deep knowledge of OS to identify the cause of RCA during outages.
Basic or intermediate knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
Basic or intermediate knowledge of cloud concepts like Azure Oracle and Google.
Basic tasks related to different clouds like Azure Oracle and Google.
Proactively manage and maintain server and virtual environment for high uptime.
Design and implement monitoring configuration management and reporting functions that will make a handsoff environment.
Document best practices and support procedures
Provide afterhours support for Infrastructure in case of emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
