About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Design Engineer to lead our electronics team in the design and development of innovative products across the Medical, Automotive, and IoT domains. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hardware development process, from concept to production, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality electronic products that meet stringent industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Hardware Engineers and Firmware Developers throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain a clear project roadmap, defining timelines, resource allocation, and technical direction.
- Translate product requirements into detailed hardware specifications and system architectures.
- Possess strong knowledge of high-speed hardware design principles, including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC.
- Perform thermal analysis and management in Hardware Design.
- Design and develop Rigid PCBs with upto 8 layers.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of analog and digital electronics, as well as electromagnetic field theory.
- Manage and ensure compliance with relevant medical and automotive industry standards and certifications throughout the development process.
- Design and integrate RF circuits for various communication protocols, including Wi-Fi, BLE, 2G/GSM, 4G LTE, LoRa, GNSS, etc.
- Develop boards based on STM, NXP, Renesas and Nordic based 16/32bit MCU.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, datasheets, design reports, and test reports.
- Implement DFMA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly) principles throughout the design process.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in electronic design technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Electronics Hardware Designing.
- Proven experience in the design and development of electronic products for Medical, Automotive, or IoT applications.
- Strong understanding of high-speed hardware design principles, including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC.
- In-depth knowledge of analog electronics, digital electronics, and electromagnetic field theory.
- Experience in thermal analysis and management in high density PCBs.
- Experience with handling medical and automotive product compliances and certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to design and layout high-density PCBs with complex layer counts.
- Extremely proficient in using industry standard EDA tools, including Altium Designer Professional and Altium 365, or other equivalent EDA tools.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Multisim, etc.
- Familiarity with working on interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, LIN, RS485, RS232, and Ethernet. Knowledge of HDMI, PCIe, LVDS, LPDDRx, RGMII, MIPI-CSI, MIPI-DSI.
- Experience in designing Buck Converter, Boost Converter, Buck-Boost Converter.
- Experience in designing and implementing power management.
- Ability to design ultra-efficient battery-powered electronics products.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
