Job description
Responsibilities: Understanding product requirements, making estimates, and optimizing procedures. Product Level Hardware designing, and algorithm development based upon application. Driving the development from early phases of development to product maintenance. Interfacing with different IC manufacturers to understand the PCB Design and debugging steps (Expected IC manufacturer can be Analog Devices, STMicroelectronics, Maxim Integrated, Rinses, NXP etc). PCB designing (Design, Schematic, routing & choosing the right component). Strong hand in R&D and PCB designing of AC-DC, DC-DC and Battery management System circuits on various solutions. Hardware debugging & troubleshooting. Ability to source optimal components based on End of life, price and various parameters. Collaborating cross-functionally with the Software teams to develop and test control algorithms to ensure the required electrical performance. Zeal to develop new gen Power electronics products at Chakr Innovation. An Action oriented mind-set and the ability to analyse and solve complex problems.
What you’ll need: PCB design skills in software Altium (preferred). Experience on 8/16/32-bit ADC. Experience in UART, I2C, SPI, CAN based products is added advantage. Experience on embedded Design of power electronic products like charge controllers, converters, etc. (must). Knowledge of Battery management systems (BMS) of Li-ion and/or other chemistries (preferable). Should have good debugging and troubleshooting skills. Analyzing product failures. Experience of Analog electronics simulation using LT-Spice, Multisim, etc. Must have experience in EMI and EMC designing and testing. Development experience of BMS for EV (preferable). Experience in Lab-VIEW Development programming is preferable. Understanding of safety regulatory requirements in power converters is preferable. Qualification: B.E (B.Tech) / M.E (M.Tech) in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation. 3+ years of experience of Analog and Digital Design and development in relevant fields of application.Job tags
