We are looking for a Channel Marketing Specialist to join the Sophos EMEA Marketing team
This role will deliver channel to and through programs for our Middle East & Africa region as well as support one to many partner/distributor communications and projects across our broader EMEA regions as part of our Channel Marketing Team
As a Channel Marketing Specialist, you will plan, develop, implement, execute, and measure the results of marketing campaigns and programs targeted at Sophos s large network of resellers and distributors
As part of a highly collaborative EMEA team you may at times be required to also extend your skills to support programs and activities targeted directly at end users for example attendance at tradeshows and events and ensuring demand generation activities are relevant and executed successfully through our channel
What you will do
Deliver against Channel Marketing activities for the EMEA Emerging (Middle East & Africa) region as required to support the growth plan for the region and increase engagement with the channel.
Work with a set number of key strategic reseller partners to ensure an effective quarterly plan is in place to drive Sophos business.
Review results with these partners alongside local Sales and report back on key performance metrics and results, ensuring an adequate ROI for any MDF budget allocated.
Be the EMEA Emerging lead on MSP working with the MSP sales team in region help to plan and execute activities to drive the MSP business as required.
Where necessary work with our Channel Service Centre (CSC) to adapt corporate campaigns and provide co-branded versions for resellers, ensuring our channel is kept continually updated on marketing content available from Sophos.
Work as part of the wider EMEA Channel Marketing Team, supporting activities as directed by the Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA Channel to deliver effective to channel communications. For example, newsletters, enablement activities, training and webinars targeted across multiple regions.
Drive our resellers to take advantage of through channel marketing activity, examples being webinars, campaigns, and events. At times working on campaigns targeting distribution to help them to communicate to our resellers the benefits of Sophos and the support available to market our products.
Ensure our channel partners are aware of and using the full range of lead generation tools available to them via our Partner Portal, support the delivery of an annual channel marketing event to advise our partners on best practice when marketing Sophos products.
Work with the global social media team as directed by the Senior Marketing Manager EMEA Channel to ensure appropriate content is shared locally to engage with resellers and distributors across our various social media platforms.
When required work closely with Regional Sales and the Senior Channel Marketing Manager, EMEA to build SPIFFs and promos that will drive business in focus areas. Create, promote, and track these incentives continually, adapting where necessary to meet business needs.
Track and report on all marketing spend across Emerging EMEA showing ROI and lessons learnt from each activity. Review MDF spend and make suggestions, based on partner revenue, on future marketing investments.
Budget management & campaign reporting manage the budget allocated for Partner MDF or projects you are asked to lead on ensuring an adequate ROI, ensure effective use of the MDF portal and manage claims where required.
Ensure timely review and reporting on your programs and initiatives completing QBR presentation decks and activity plans when required.
Occasionally you will be required to support marketing events within the EMEA region including Sophos hosted seminars, tradeshows and partner events and attend where necessary.
Work effectively as part of the Field Marketing team contributing to overall team success and suggesting improvements to maximise performance.
What you will bring
Experience of B2B Marketing and MDF management in similar industry
Must have a track record of working proactively with sales and channel teams
Experience and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, B2B growth organisation
Ability to implement and measure a marketing plan
Good understanding of and experience in all elements of the marketing mix
An aptitude for problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, with multiple global stakeholders
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
