Job description
Analytical equipment/instrument maintenance
- Ensuring Safety systems and standards are followed during maintenance of Analytical instruments.
- To perform the preventive and breakdown maintenance of analytical equipment.
- To ensure that all the analytical equipment / instruments are updated in SAP.
- To update the preventive maintenance plan whenever new instruments are added in the areas or to match with the calibration schedule.
- Ensuring to close the generated PM orders in SAP after performing the PM.
- Support for Pre-installations, installation and shifting of equipment/instrument across labs.
- Ensure all the report generation and filing for easy retrieval.
Calibration:
- Execution & Leading the Calibration activities and comply to schedule.
- Handling Calibration of instruments through SAP.
- Preparation of yearly master calibration plan and schedule.
- Coordination with user for in-house and third party instrument calibration activities.
- Obtaining clearance of equipment and instruments for calibration activity.
- Checking/Reviewing and ensuring compliance in calibration record sheets, certificates and master certificates.
- Preparation, Review and revision of calibration SOPs.
- Ensuring compliance to the safety management systems & policies
- Preparation, review and updating, up keeping and maintain all the documents applicable to the calibration activity.
- To carry out the process and equipment related investigations to deviations and implementing appropriate CAPA.
- Following good documentation, data control and cGMP regulations and ensuring the same from team members.
General activities:
- Spares Inventory planning, optimizing the inventory and to minimize the breakdown time.
- Coordinating in internal and external audits for calibrations and addressing audit points if any.
- To coordinate for executing the AMC/CMC as per PO terms and filing of reports.
- To support in execution of product changeover activities in manufacturing facility
