Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Data Visualization: Develop visually appealing and insightful data visualizations using Power BI to present complex data in an understandable manner. Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models in Snowflake, optimizing for performance and ensuring data accuracy. Data Sets: Create and manage data sets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability. Dashboard Development: Utilize Streamlit with Python to build interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reporting tools. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support in designing solutions. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimizations for both data models and data visualization solutions. Data Governance: Adhere to data governance best practices to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations. Documentation: Maintain documentation of data models, data sets, and data visualization solutions for knowledge sharing. Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the BI team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 4-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization. Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Strong expertise in data modeling using Snowflake. Experience with Streamlit and Python for dashboard development. Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Certification in Power BI or Snowflake.Job tags
