Job description
Responsibilities
- To follow and implement APML Safety Management system in totality.
- Organizing Safety Induction training for new Staff and Workers of the APML as well agencies.
- Preparation of various Monthly MIS report for HO submission.
- Conducting weekly mass tool box talk for the agencies workers and suggesting safe work methodology.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Control Measures for Critical and Non Critical Activities.
- Investigation of near miss, dangerous occurrence and accidents and suggesting corrective and preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence.
- Conducting safety motivational activities and awareness for the agency's workers.
- Conducting weekly safety audits at plant area and it's compliances in review meeting.
- Daily monitoring of unsafe act, unsafe condition and unsafe practices at plant and their compliances.
- Ensuring usage of PPEs by the APML employees as well as agency Staff & Workers of the agencies at plant.
- SAP related work i.e. material requisition, material issue and service entry sheet, logging of observations, (UA/AC), near miss incident & accidents.
- Implementation of Permit to Work System at plant & adhering to the requirements of permit.
- Conducting monthly detector survey of Hydrogen and Chlorination Plant.
- Preparation of agenda and presentation for conducting Plant Safety Committee meeting on monthly basis.
- Coordination with safety stars and ambassadors of different departments.
- Participation in internal & external IMS audits.
- Facilitating Third Party Inspection of plant tools & tackles.
- Organizing Departmental Safety Committee Meeting of department allocated.
Executing all motivational programme a per Corporate guidelines like Safety Mela, Safety Virus, Safety award reward scheme Etc
Qualifications Essential Qualification:
- U.G degree (Physics or Chemistry)
- B.E / B.Tech (Safety)
Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience Total : 13 – 18 Yrs
