Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Client Workshop Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate client workshops to gather and analyze transportation management requirements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify pain points and business objectives.
2. Solution Design:
- Utilize your expertise in SAP TM to design innovative and efficient transportation management solutions.
- Develop comprehensive design documents outlining the proposed solutions, including process flows, system configurations, and integration requirements.
3. Client Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
4. Project Planning:
- Contribute to project planning by providing input on timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables related to SAP TM implementation.
5. Configuration and Customization:
- Configure SAP TM modules to meet specific client requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- If necessary, develop custom solutions to address unique transportation management challenges.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the testing team to ensure comprehensive testing of SAP TM solutions.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and functionality of configured systems.
7. Documentation and Training:
- Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation to support end-users in adopting SAP TM solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to clients and internal teams as needed.
8. Troubleshooting and Support:
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during SAP TM implementation.
- Offer ongoing support to clients post-implementation to ensure system stability and performance.
9. Stay Current with SAP TM Trends:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and updates within the SAP TM landscape.
- Continuously expand your knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business).
- Proven experience as an SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of SAP TM modules and their integration with other SAP modules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Project management skills and the ability to work in a team.
- SAP certification in Transportation Management (preferred).
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (if applicable).
