The Strategy and Technology Group (STG) is a new initiative within Aon to deliver innovative consulting and technology solutions to its clients. This is a great opportunity to join a growing group and to work with a highly skilled, collaborative team of actuarial and software experts who are using the latest technology to deliver next generation products for insurance markets.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working on developing our core product by writing code, testing, analysing, specifying, reviewing and all other activities that form part of the software development lifecycle.
• Working with other Developers, QAs, BAs and corresponding leads to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software
• Engaging in all scrum ceremonies
• Supporting and mentoring other team members
• Contributing to process and quality improvement discussions
• Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting and potentially leading product deployments
• Engaging in ongoing professional development

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• 6+ years of experience in all aspects of .Net full stack engineering [Sr Developer [lead] position
  across front, middle and back office capabilities
• Agile Development 
• Strong Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Angular (14+) with TypeScript (or similar modern UI framework) 
• HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS 
• Full stack C# Web development 
• Web API 2 
• .NET Core 6+
• SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL, stored procedures) 
• SOLID Principles 
• Git with GitFlow, Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
• Dapper, EFCore 
• xUnit, NUnit & Moq 
• Secure coding practices
• DevOps (Octopus Deploy, Azure Pipelines) 
• Azure Cloud development

Good to have:

• Angular Material 
• Flexbox Layout 
• Angular CLI, Webpack 
• PrimeNG, Grapecity Wijmo UI controls 
• Testing – Integration, End To End, Performance, Cypress
