Job description
About the job :- Analyse and integrate data from multiple sources and extract meaningful insights from the same.- Transform raw data into usable metrics/indices.- Implement statistical learning methods for predictive models.- Ideate on ways in which analytics can improve existing/new products/solutions and lead implementation of these ideas.- Work with developers to integrate and deploy data analytics models into product backend.- Help build and manage data science team.Must have skills :- Excellent understanding of standard statistical methodologies and good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.- Experience with common data science and numerical libraries in Python and/or R.- Proficient in using data query languages such as SQL.- Proficient with predictive analytics on big data projects.- Experience with causal inference and impact analysis.Nice to have skills :- Experience of building models with geospatial or location data and/or satellite imagery data, would be a great plus.- Experience of building models with demography, economic or socio-economic data.- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google cloud, Azure etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
