Job Description:
An Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Research Methodology is a faculty member who is responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of biostatistics and research methodology. Their primary duties include developing and delivering course content, conducting research and scholarship, and mentoring and advising students. They may also participate in departmental meetings and committees, stay current with advancements in the field through ongoing professional development, and collaborate with other faculty members and researchers in the field. The Assistant Professor must assess student performance and provide feedback to support their growth and development, and contribute to the development and maintenance of academic programs and initiatives. The ultimate goal of the Assistant Professor is to support student learning, contribute to the advancement of the field of biostatistics and research methodology, and promote the department's mission.
