Job description
NDT TECHNICIANS
Co-ordinates, Monitor & Execute the NDT activity of the product. Overall responsible for the NDE of the product and ensure that no defective / rejected product is delivered to the customer. Record the all the NDE Examination reporting on respective formats. Follow the department QMS objective, work Instruction and Procedures. Minimum 5 - 7 years experience as NDT technician in manufacturing/fabrication industry dealing with Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, storage tanks, piping, etc.
1. Review the drawings, ITP, Project specifications and NDT procedures.
2. Prepare the NDT request as per the ITP requirement and arrange for NDT with Sub-contractor.
3. Witness the Subcontractor NDT work performed at shop / job site.
4. Coordinate with Construction/ Project related to NDT Results.
5. Perform /Conduct/Review VT, UT, RT, PT, MPI & PMI, Hardness prepare the reports, review the films and submit to client.
6. Follow up for NDE with 3rd party.
7. Preparation, resolution and disposition of NCR's for non-confirming products.
8. Perform the internal / external calibration of NDE equipment and ensure they are in working conditions.
9. Maintain all NDE records and submit for the final QC Dossiers.
10. Coordinate with Internal / External QMS Auditor, AI, client Inspector & 3rd party.
11. Ensure that the Measurement tools are with valid calibration and are in working conditions.
12. Raise the PR related to NDT activities.
