Job description

Responsibilities All products produced are as per the PVM and Regulatory guidelines and meet laid down product specifications and food safety criteria. Develop and drive programes to ensure delivery of safe and consistent product and minimize rejections Ensure that all global PVM guidelines and projects are effectively implemented in the factory Ensure that all requirements of Third Party Certifications like FSSC, ISO9001, Halal etc are met at all times and the systems are kept updated with additional requirements. To build a system of risk and hazard analysis to ensure that food produced is free from any food safety concerns Build and Drive a culture of Root Cause Analysis and ensure Corrective actions and Preventive Actions are planned in case of identification of any non conformity. To also monitor/review if the actions proposed are effective against the desired results Ensure that the facility and products produced are always complying to Indian regulatory requirements like FSSAI, W&M etc. Ensure the laboratory is always equipped with right analytical needs and all requisite RM and FG are analyzed as per the defined protocols and GLP are followed. Lead the culture of collection and analysis of data and conduct cause effect, forecasting and predictive analysis Ensure that product are produced under specification and optimal process control limits through implementation of programes like Statistical Process Control Support effective vendor development programes through periodic review of suppliers on Food Safety and Supply quality (Non Conformity and Closure of Complaints) Constantly Monitor and Review the system, identify the gaps and bridge them with suitable initiatives and programes and drive continual improvement. Build a culture of constant innovation and safety practices among team members and support them deliver new ideas Support R&D in ensuring all NPD’s/New Initiatives are produced first time right through conduction of gap/risk analysis, training and implementation of specification before startup. Support P&T head with inputs on quality related expenses and budgets

Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science or Dairy Science 12+ years of experience of work in quality function at reputed food industry and have worked on System Quality as well as In process quality. Have got experience of team and stakeholder management.
