OVERVIEW:

At Skillsoft, Account Executive (AE) – Channel Sales. is an integral member of the Skillsoft organisation and is an experienced channel sales executive with a history of over performance in quota attainment. The successful AE – Channel Sales will be goal-oriented focused on winning, maintaining, and expanding all our partner relationships within the assigned territory. The AE – Channel Sales, will be supporting ongoing sales and growth opportunities by providing channel sales support to a region or portfolio of assigned partners or customers. Additionally, they will be responsible for evangelizing Skillsoft’s industry value proposition within their partner set. Our AEs work remotely from home offices to manage all aspects of channel sales within an assigned region.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

Channel Partner Sales in India Creation and execution of the industry GTM plan in collaboration with regional leadership and extended teams, holding every stakeholder accountable for reaching goals Grow partner business for the leading global provider of e-learning content and technology products within assigned territory. Work independently with channel partners and internal resources to develop and execute growth strategies to maintain and grow the business. Perform as self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture while being independent in managing his/her business. Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of revenue growth in channel sales through a consultative approach leveraging Skillsoft Value Proposition. Develop, maintain and grow an ongoing channel sales pipeline. Access, clarify and validate partner needs and performances at regular intervals and maintain a high partner satisfaction rate Drive and manage channel sales and marketing campaigns with support from local marketing team Maintain current and accurate information on account status and sales activity in SalesForce.com. Executive presence to lead and handle the most strategic channel partners in the region.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Quick learner, able to take initiative with excellent problem solving ability. A minimum of 15 years successful channel sales experience in a complex and collaborative sales environment; experience in the learning or human capital, human capital technology space is preferred. This role requires the resource to be based out of the specified location to have familiarity with local nuances, and meet Customers/Prospects as required. Channel Sales experience must demonstrate ability to exceed sales targets. Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships Skillfully engages in business conversation to clearly identify challenges and arrive at solutions Operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude. Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail. Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close. Solid grounding in business concepts and dynamics. The ability to develop and sustain critical relationships across partners, end clients and prospect base is essential. Must have proven ability to expertly use common desktop office and business technologies. Exceptional overall communication skills. Must have the ability to clearly articulate the company's offerings and develop solutions for partners, customers and prospects. Strong stakeholder management skills. Experience using Salesforce and other digital business tools. Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. 30%+ travel as and when required.
