Job Description We are seeking a talented and Sr Data catalog Admin with proven exp in Azure PurviewRoles & ResponsibilitiesLed the enterprise architecture and solutioning effort in data management and data governance (Azure Purview).Register and document data assets, including databases, tables, files, and pipelines in the catalogMaintain metadata information, including descriptions, data lineage, data quality, and usage statisticsImplemented data classification and tagging to ensure proper handling of sensitive dataDefine and monitor data quality rules and policies to maintain data accuracy and consistency.Established data governance workflows for data asset approval and stewardshipExperience in tracking Lineage and Conduct impact analysis to identify downstream effects of data changes.Monitoring the health and usage of the Governance platform and perform proactive maintenanceGenerate reports and dashboards to provide insights into data asset usage and catalog performance In azure purview.Foster collaboration among data users, data stewards, and data owners to promote a data-driven cultureExperience with databases technologies Snowflake, DW appliances (Eg :Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum), Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)Well versed with defining access policies and security control for Data assetsMust have experience in interacting with business in setting up the business glossary termsMust have implemented at least 2 data governance projects.Well versed with handling Data catalog tools and its administration (Purview/Collibra etc)Well versed with back and restore, setting up workflows for approvals and integration of multiple data assets including master dataWell versed with defining the governance policies and security policies inline with business and Domain steward. Well versed with business glossary, technical glossary and data governance and security standardsWell versed with handling Real time and batch data ingestion frameworks (ETL/ELT) and architecture.Strong capability to drive the project and keeps communication clear between relevant parties.Strong stake holder management with business in implementing the data governance.Deep knowledge of best practices across data related technologies particularly for enterprise wide data architecture, data management, Data governance, data warehousing and analytics (reporting)Experience in creating Data Modernization solutions by enabling Data Lake/Data Hub's on Azure. Qualifications Total relevant work experience of 12+ years.
