As the Planning Director in Media.Monks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic planning initiatives for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years of experience working with renowned brands, demonstrating a strong track record in strategic planning and digital campaign development. As the Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing successful advertising strategies for our clients.
Responsibilities - Strategic Planning:
- Develop comprehensive and data-driven advertising strategies for clients, considering their marketing objectives and target audience.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, creative, and media, to align planning strategies with campaign execution.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to effectively communicate strategic recommendations and campaign performance.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on brand positioning, messaging, and market opportunities.
- Insights and Analytics:
- Utilize industry-leading tools and data sources to gather insights and analytics to inform campaign strategies.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, identify areas of improvement, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving consumer behavior to drive innovation in planning approaches.
- Business Development:
- Support business development efforts by participating in pitches and proposal development.
- Contribute strategic insights and planning expertise to win new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Collaborate with senior management in identifying growth opportunities and developing long-term agency strategies.
- Digital Campaigns:
- Drive the integration of digital marketing strategies into advertising campaigns, leveraging your expertise in digital channels, social media, content marketing, and data-driven approaches.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, advertising, or marketing roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful advertising campaigns across various channels and industries.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and industry trends.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both internal teams and clients.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of effectively managing teams and driving results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Proficiency in industry-standard planning tools and software.
