Job description
Job Title: Jr. Accountant PositionIndustry Type: RetailOpening: ** (Local candidate preferable) * Roles and Responsibilities:* Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.* Preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses to provide valuable insights to management.* Conducting month-end and year-end closing processes with utmost accuracy and attention to detail.* Knowledge of TDS/GST/ITR.* Prepare documents & assist in company audits.* Prepare ad-hoc reports as and when required by the management.* Knowledge of inventory management.* Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, regulations, and company policies.* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.* Assisting in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.* Knowledge of other accounting entries like Contra entry/ Journal entry /receipt /payment* MISQualifications:* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Account* Experience in the related industry is preferred (F & V Preferred)* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho or Tally)* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
