Job description
Amity University Bengaluru seeks an experienced Deputy Director of Human Resources to develop and implement best practice human resource management in employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Assist in managing and supervising the HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- To identify and address HR needs, challenges, and opportunities, and develop HR initiatives that support the organization's goals.
- Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment performance and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies. Analyse recruitment trends, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimizing recruitment processes.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of performance management programs, including goal setting, quarterly check in meetings, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and internal HR policies, and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee HR operations, including HRIS management, data analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
• An MBA in Human Resources would be an advantage.
• 12-15 years of HR experience, with at least 5-7 years experience in recruitment, compensation, and performance management
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws
